9. Bible Books Parrot Folklore of the Times


In nearly every case, the old testament books continue, albiet slightly altered, the folklore that was prevalent in ancient times.

There is nothing god inspired in the bible.

The dying and rising savior-god Mithra seemed especially similar to Jesus in many ways. He had a last supper with his followers. His worshippers were admonished to symbolically eat of his flesh in order to conquer death. He promised on the Day of Judgment that all the dead would be raised back to life. He had sacrificed himself to redeem humanity, descended into the underworld for three days and rose again on Sunday, the holy day for Mithraists.
